Boulder, Colo. – Due to popular demand, square product theatre and WreckingBall Theater Lab, in association with the Packing House Center for the Arts, announce an extension of “Good Girls Don’t, But I Do,” including a benefit performance to support relief efforts in earthquake-devastated Haiti. The production will extend one week for two performances, February 5 and 6, with 50% of the box office for the closing performance to go to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. Advance tickets are highly recommended, as space is limited. Come get down and dirty with the “good girls” one last time and help us send aid to those in dire need!

About the show: The most popular girls at the 2009 Boulder International Fringe Festival descend upon the innocent citizens of Denver! square product theatre and WreckingBall Theater Lab, in association with The Packing House Center for the Arts, present a Denver run of “Good Girls Don’t, But I Do,” an innovative work incorporating both original and culled texts, movement, and song in an exploration of what it means to be a woman in contemporary society. Inspired by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider’s controversial Best Seller “The Rules: Time-Tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right” and a 1950s era home economics text book, the piece humorously explores the do’s and don’ts of dating from a variety of perspectives. Are there “rules” for meeting Mr. Right? “Good Girls Don’t, But I Do” asks what inquiring minds want to know.
