He performed with companies in New York, San Francisco, Germany, and Denmark and toured extensively across North America and Europe before returning to Colorado to found Control Group. Recently he originated a role in DCPA Off-Center's Sweet & Lucky, and choreographed Off-Center's immersive staging of The Wild Party. As Control Group's Artistic Director, he has guided concept development, creation, and independent production of over 20 works, ranging from dance-theatre to immersive performance to film. He now lives 3 blocks from his childhood home, with his extraordinary wife Kristine and their 5-year-old fireball Levi.

Nicholas Caputo (Associate Director/ Ernest MacDonald) is a musician and performance artist originally from Gainesville, Florida currently living as an artist in residence at Invisible City in Denver. This is his third work with Control Group, following last spring’s Aggregate Immateriality. After tiring of a full-time musician’s schedule, Nicholas sought to move beyond a proscenium and brought accordion performance and improvisation into whatever public places he could get away with. In his search for more vivid performance opportunities and opportunities to deliver sounds, he has found a home with Control Group productions.

Bailey Harper (Associate Director/ Jeanne Marie La Poubelle, Director) has been a dancer, teacher, performer, and collaborator in the professional realm for over ten years. She holds a BA in Dance and Kinesiology from the University of Alabama and has traveled across the United States, Europe, and Israel to dance and learn with many different companies and artists. Currently Bailey is an artist in residence at Invisible City and Marketing Director for Control Group Productions. All the while fulfilling her dream to bring dance out of the proscenium and into the room with you.
