Red Willow
What rites of spring can prepare us for the onslaught we face? How do we take up our responsibilities and wield them in service of the world we believe in? What do we cast off, what do we gather to us, how do we confront evil without sacrificing decency?
Red Willow is a ritual preparation for resistance. Together on a 2-mile walk through the woods at dusk, we work to shift our stance and our constitution to confront the escalating violence without being subsumed by it. We reflect on the values that require hard choices and actions, and explore practices of solidarity, defiance, and disruption within rich histories of Indigenous Resistance.

O Ghostly Ancestor
by Parijata Performance Projects
O Ghostly Ancestor draws on contemporary and Gujarati circle dance (western India), experimental theater, and martial arts—and diverse musical influences. The performance structure is modeled both on the Navratri festival, as celebrated in Gujarat, India and across the diaspora, and on Planetary Dance, a community ritual created by the iconic postmodern choreographer Anna Halprin.
