meaningful change!
Colorado’s public schools are funded, in part, by land originally taken from Native Nations, and yet Native students continue to face the greatest educational disparities in the state. It’s time to honor both Colorado’s history and the responsibility that comes with it.
We invite you to join us in urging Colorado's state legislature to pass legislation directing a percentage of State Land Board revenue to support statewide Indian Education.
Together, we can invest in culturally relevant programs and educational materials, address opportunity disparities, and guarantee that Native students, along with all students, benefit from an education based on truth, equity, and respect.
